We use Class VI silicone in our medical products. Silicone outperforms conventional thermoplastics increasing overall value. Silicone offers excellent heat resistance, good chemical resistance, and is resistant to UV and X-Ray radiation. It can also be easily sterilized using a variety of methods, with minimal degradation or changes to its properties. Silicone has a high biocompatibility for skin contact and has antimicrobial properties, making it the material of choice for many healthcare applications.
